OUR PASTOR

 

Reverend Dr. Glenroy Deveaux was born on the beautiful island of Exuma in the Bahamas.  He gave his life to the Lord at the early age of fifteen.  He was married to Sybilene Bullard Deveaux for fifty-two years before her death.  They were blessed with six children.  He was called to the Gospel Ministry in nineteen sixty-eight (1968) and he was ordained in nineteen seventy-six (1976) under the pastorate of Dr. Earle Francis of First Baptist Church - Nassau, Bahama.  He received his religious training from The Bahamas Baptist Bible Institute, The Commonwealth Bible College, Moody Bible Institute, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Jacksonville Theological Seminary and numerous seminars, workshops and lectures.  

 

He and his family relocated to Miami in nineteen eighty-one.  He joined New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Larry Ferguson, where he served as an associate minister.  Pastor Deveaux was called and installed as Pastor of Temple Missionary Baptist Church in nineteen eighty-two and has faithfully served for thirty-eight years .
